Google's terms apply to the imagery

All maps, satellite imagery and Street View panoramas shown here come from the Google Maps Platform and remain Google's property. Your use of them is subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy, in addition to these terms.

That means, among other things, that you may not scrape, download, cache or redistribute the imagery, and that the attribution shown on every page must not be removed or obscured.

What this site provides

An interface, some written guides, and a set of curated coordinates. The tools run in your browser and store nothing on a server. The guides are our own work.

Quoting a passage from a guide with a link back is welcome. Republishing pages wholesale is not.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. Coverage, imagery dates and availability are entirely determined by Google, and any part of the service may stop working without notice if their API changes or a key is restricted.

Coordinates in the guides are checked but not guaranteed. If one lands in the wrong place, the contact page is the fastest way to get it fixed.
