Cities at Night in Street View
Ten places where the camera passed after dark, which is rarer than you would think.
Almost all Street View imagery is captured in daylight, for the obvious reason that a moving camera needs light. Night captures exist, but they are unusual, and they are mostly in places where the lighting is the whole point of the location.
That makes this a shorter collection than the others, and a more specific one. Some of these are genuinely night imagery. Others are places where the signage and screens dominate so completely that the daytime capture still reads as night, which is its own kind of interesting.
If a location loads in daylight when you were expecting dark, that is the coverage rather than a fault. Check the imagery date shown by Google and, where a place has been captured more than once, the historical imagery sometimes has a different pass.
